Voices for Change Youth Coalition

The youth coalition is a group of students and adults who will work to affect change in Howard County for Youth, through subcommittees. The group will have contacts throughout the county and will have close relationships with, but not limited to, County Businesses, County Government, and County Schools.

Students who would like to join the Youth Coalition should be between the ages of 13-21. We are looking for adults who can facilitate student discussion and mentor students along the way to make their ideas become realities.

Goal of the Coalition

To hear as many youth voices as possible and to create lines of communication with county organizations.

 Why should you join the Voices for Change Youth Coalition?

The V4CYC is a great way to meet new people and develop relationships with prominent business and government leaders in the county! It is a way for YOU to make your mark on Howard County. You may even discover new things about yourself! Those of you looking for something to put on your college applications, this is it!

*The Coalition is currently working on their first set of issues! These issues include: School lunches, Underage Drinking Campaign, a Non-Profit Cafe, etc.
